Mas algo al\u00c3\u00a9m do Natal tem mantido a ind\u00c3\u00bastria ocupada: <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00e2\u008f\u00b3as regras do <strong>#EUDR<\/strong> da UE, originalmente previstas para entrar em vigor em 30 de dezembro de 2025.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00c3\u2030 uma not\u00c3\u00adcia agridoce, embora n\u00c3\u00a3o surpreendente para muitos, que o prazo do EUDR tenha sido adiado pela segunda vez: para 30 de dezembro de 2026 para m\u00c3\u00a9dios e grandes operadores e junho de 2027 para pequenas empresas. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por um lado, este \u00c3\u00a9 mais um atraso na aplica\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o de uma produ\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o agr\u00c3\u00adcola mais sustent\u00c3\u00a1vel, que visa aliviar a press\u00c3\u00a3o sobre as florestas do mundo. Com a agricultura impulsionando o desmatamento global e respondendo por quase 90% da perda florestal, a import\u00c3\u00a2ncia de tais regulamenta\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00b5es, por mais desafiadoras que sejam, \u00c3\u00a9 clara.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por outro lado, o EUDR apresenta desafios enormes para as empresas, exigindo uma reestrutura\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o significativa para tornar as cadeias de suprimentos totalmente livres de desmatamento. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Este segundo adiamento n\u00c3\u00a3o deve ser visto como uma chance de atrasar a a\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o, mas como uma oportunidade de se preparar adequadamente, implementando solu\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00b5es tecnol\u00c3\u00b3gicas robustas que forne\u00c3\u00a7am os insights necess\u00c3\u00a1rios para cumprir o EUDR at\u00c3\u00a9 o final de 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Cacau e Desmatamento<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">O cacau carrega um risco de desmatamento intrincado. O pequeno gr\u00c3\u00a3o cresce melhor em \u00c3\u00a1reas sombreadas ou anteriormente florestadas, o que historicamente contribuiu para a perda de florestas. Pr\u00c3\u00a1ticas mais recentes de monoculturas de sol pleno t\u00c3\u00aam sido ainda mais prejudiciais, pois os agricultores frequentemente limpam amplas extens\u00c3\u00b5es de terra, degradando a sa\u00c3\u00bade do solo e, sob press\u00c3\u00a3o econ\u00c3\u00b4mica, continuando a expans\u00c3\u00a3o.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al\u00c3\u00a9m disso, a cadeia de suprimentos do cacau \u00c3\u00a9 longa e complexa: 90% da produ\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o vem de pequenos agricultores e passa por m\u00c3\u00baltiplos intermedi\u00c3\u00a1rios, o que resulta em grandes quantidades de dados inconsistentes ou ausentes no n\u00c3\u00advel da fazenda.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Portanto, o desafio dentro da ind\u00c3\u00bastria \u00c3\u00a9 \u00c3\u00b3bvio: <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00e2\u017e\u00a1\u00ef\u00b8\u008fAlcan\u00c3\u00a7ar a rastreabilidade total, apesar do ano extra, continua sendo dif\u00c3\u00adcil.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requisitos de conformidade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00f0\u0178\u201c\u009dSob o EUDR, as empresas precisar\u00c3\u00a3o:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Provar que nenhum cacau prov\u00c3\u00a9m de terras desmatadas ap\u00c3\u00b3s 31 de dezembro de 2020<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fornecer pol\u00c3\u00adgonos de geolocaliza\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o para cada talh\u00c3\u00a3o de cacau<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Garantir a rastreabilidade total desde a fazenda at\u00c3\u00a9 o produto final<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Realizar e documentar avalia\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00b5es e mitiga\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o de riscos <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Como 2025 mostrou, um ano passa r\u00c3\u00a1pido. Muitas empresas n\u00c3\u00a3o implementaram as medidas necess\u00c3\u00a1rias a tempo.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00f0\u0178\u201d\u00a7Para progredir antes do pr\u00c3\u00b3ximo prazo, as empresas exigir\u00c3\u00a3o solu\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00b5es que: <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mapeiem e registrem fazendas com precis\u00c3\u00a3o<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Detectem mudan\u00c3\u00a7as passadas e cont\u00c3\u00adnuas no uso da terra<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rastreiem o cacau em todas as camadas da cadeia de suprimentos<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gerenciem todos os relat\u00c3\u00b3rios de conformidade do EUDR.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ferramentas capazes de fornecer esses insights com precis\u00c3\u00a3o devem ser treinadas em quantidades adequadas de dados de alta qualidade, consistentes e imparciais. Modelos robustos de monitoramento de desmatamento e detec\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o de riscos s\u00c3\u00b3 podem ter um desempenho t\u00c3\u00a3o bom quanto os dados por tr\u00c3\u00a1s deles. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Transformando o desafio em oportunidade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Criar esse tipo de dado de treinamento \u00c3\u00a9 um desafio no qual estamos focados h\u00c3\u00a1 algum tempo. Ao desenvolver conjuntos de dados sint\u00c3\u00a9ticos, fortalecemos modelos que monitoram \u00c3\u00a1rvores, detectam desmatamento e avaliam a din\u00c3\u00a2mica do uso da terra em torno da produ\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o de cacau, especialmente em \u00c3\u00a1reas com imagens de sat\u00c3\u00a9lite limitadas ou inconsistentes. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apesar da press\u00c3\u00a3o, as regulamenta\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00b5es do EUDR trazem valor real para todos os envolvidos na ind\u00c3\u00bastria.
